Post-assembly magnetization of brushless DC motor

Abstract

The theory of post-assembly magnetization is discussed, on the basis of which the model is built and the magnetic field analysis is done by FEM (finite element method). Test of prototype motors prove that brushless DC motors of post-assembly magnetization and component magnetization share the similar flux density on the surface of the rotor.
