Abstract

The paper presents the work on transparent, stretchable, conductive and self-adhesive hydrogel fabricated by PμSL 3D printing technique. The hydrogel is prepared by co-polymerization of anionic monomer AMPS and neutral acrylic monomer HBA. Experimental results demonstrate that the hydrogel presents high transparency (92.3%), stretchability (2100%), conductivity (0.044 S cm-1) and strong adhesion to various materials. The designed hydrogel-elastomer stretchable sensor can monitor motions of robots, indicating new avenues in the areas of sensory skin in robotics.
