Polarization suppression of angle cheating interference in pulse Doppler radar seeker

Abstract

The angle cheating interference is very effective for the pulse Doppler radar seeker. It is difficult to find an effective suppression method of this kind of interference in time and frequency domain. This paper presents a new scheme to suppress the angle cheating interference by using polarization filtering. The full polarization signal model of pulse Doppler radar was established, the theorem and implementation of the technology were discussed, and the performances of polarization filter and the effect of interference suppression were simulated. The results demonstrate that the scheme can suppress the angle cheating interference effectively and is feasible in engineering.
