N2 - Plasma-modulated microwave radiation intensification technology has shown great potential in improving the radiation gain of electrically small antennas. In this paper, from the standpoint of antenna, we investigated the influence of antennas' size and structure on radiation characteristics. Simulation results show that a more considerable radiating power can be obtained by improving the radiation ability of electrically small antennas. Also, the line shape of radiation characteristics can be distorted with the increase of antennas' size. Our results provide essential instructions on the practical design of plasma-loaded electrically small antennas.
