Abstract

Synchronous signal is an effective way to implement the blind-detect in audio watermarking. Based on the post masking effect of human auditory system, echo is embedded in audio signal as a symbol of synchronization without any additional listening influence. Further more, the embedded echo can be detected through the high degree of similarity with initial signal. It can be seen from experiments that the echo synchronous signal is robust to many attacks except for MP3. Even at the attack that randomly inserts or deletes some samples, the degree of similarity can be distinctly improved by detecting the echo synchronous signal exactly.
