Abstract

Observer-based control for linear discrete periodic systems is considered in this paper. Separation principle for this type of systems is proposed. It is pointed that the periodic state feedback controller and the periodic full order state observer can be designed independently. An algorithm for observer-based control via parametric pole assignment technique is presented and its validity is verified by a numerical example.
