Abstract

The wavelet transform is a linear transform which has the time-frequency resolution, and it has no cross-terms to multi-component LFM signals. This paper proposes a parameter estimating method for multi-component LFM signals based on wavelet reassignment and Radon transform. This method firstly transforms the wavelet scale into the time-frequency distribution. For improving aggregation, the reassignment is involved, and then a Radon transform is done for parameter estimation. The results of simulations for single and double LFM signals show that this method is effective to improve the aggregation of time-frequency distribution. It saves time mostly for the following Radon transform and inhibits the noise at the same time. The effectiveness is improved obviously.
