Parameter Identification of Gyro Using Recursive Subspace Algorithm

Abstract

Since some unknown physical parameters of the dynamic model of gyro are difficult to measure, identification is needed. As the dynamic model of gyro has characteristics of multi-variable and high-order, and some parameters may be time-varying, a recursive subspace identification algorithm based on the propagator is chosen for parameter identification of the dynamic model. The numerical simulations are given with two cases in which the unknown parameters of the model of gyro are constant and time-varying. The identification results are reasonable, showing that the recursive subspace identification algorithm based on the propagator for identifying the multi-variable and high-order model of gyro is applicable and effective.
