Abstract
The electroforming Ni PSZ composite coatings had been prepared by sediment electrocodeposition technique and the effects of PSZ content on the oxidation resistances of the coatings were studied by investigating the thermal stability of PSZ dispersed in the coatings. The results showed that the oxidation rates of the composite coatings were effectively reduced by adding PSZ particles; PSZ particles could agglomerate at 750°C and the oxidation resistances of the coatings may be deteriorated when PSZ were up to some content ; but continuous PSZ particles could more effective to restrain the oxidation rates of the composite coatings.
