Abstract

This paper is concerned with the dynamic output feedback stabilization problem for a class of switched nonlinear systems under arbitrary switchings. Based on the backstepping method, a dynamic output feedback controller is constructed by introducing a common Lyapunov function. It is proved that a switched nonlinear system in strict-feedback form can be globally asymptotically stabilized by a continuous output feedback controller. An example is given to verify the obtained results.
