Optimized Design of Sparse Spherical Conformal Array Based on Optimization Algorithm

Abstract

This article proposes two optimization schemes for the position of elements in sparse circular spherical array with low sidelobes based on genetic algorithm. The first optimization scheme is to first optimize the radius of each circular ring of the array element distribution, and then optimize the number of array elements on each circular ring based on this. The second optimization scheme is to simultaneously optimize the radius of the circular ring and the number of array elements on it, and its optimization effect is better than the first scheme. In addition, this article also introduces PSO, GWO, BES algorithms, and compares the optimization performance of each algorithm based on the second optimization scheme through iterative curve graphs, mean values, standard deviation, and operation time.
