Abstract

In order to obtain a systematic method for rapid and economic mass culturing of mycelium pellets in practical engineering, preliminary experiments were carried out to screen each environmental factor, then to optimize the culturing conditions. It was found that when the age of spore was 20-26 d, the inoculums concentration was 104/L, the culturing temperature was 37°C, the initial culturing pH was 5.0, the speed of shaking table was 160 r/min, the percentage composition of CaCl2 was 0.02%, and the tween80 was absent in the medium, mycelium pellets showed high activity and good color removing efficiency of 99% for Neutral Yellow. Experimental result verifies that the optimal ground pellets can be obtained by grinding at 1800 r/min for 30 s.
