Optimization method of quality consistency for contact resistance of electrical contact based on robust design principle

Abstract

The slash spring contact was selected to be the research object in this paper, and used the modeling software Solidworks to parameterize modeling this kind electrical connector. Numerical simulation was carried out on the contact resistance by collaborative simulation with Abaqus and Solidworks. The relationships between three design parameters (pin diameter wire spring diameter the angle between the wire spring and inner sleeve) and contact resistance of electrical contact were studied by changing the size of the parameters. Further, the each key design parameter of slash spring contact redefined the center values and tolerance allocation by the parameter design and tolerance design based on the robust design principle.
