Abstract
To solve the problem of location of fault detection sensors for spacecraft, a diagraph system model is proposed. The optimal design scheme for location of detection sensors is presented according to the model. The scheme takes into account the fault observability, the reliability of fault detection, and sensor placement costs. A greedy heuristics algorithm is designed for the scheme. Furthermore, the proposed approach is applied to primary electrical power supply system in a certain satellite, and the diagnostic simulation results show that the design scheme can meet the design requirements for the observability and the reliability. Compared with the other scheme, this scheme can more rapidly enhance reliability and is more suitable for system needs.
