abstract = "In this paper, an optimal design for 1 meter WPT system based on repeater is proposed, which aims at powering high voltage side sense module in HVDC. The mathematical model of the system and the calculation method of power efficiency are explained. The optimal number of coils in 1 meter is analyzed considering power, efficiency and impedance angles. The design method is illustrated in detail. Finally, simulation and experimental results verify the theoretical analysis. The power and efficiency results agree well with the simulation results. The efficiency of the WPT system can reach 58\% in a five-repeater structure within 1 meter distance.",
