Abstract

According to the thermal-optical effect and the elasto-optical effect, the relationship of the refractive index with the temperature and the stress of the optical window in the aerodynamic environment is obtained. Based on building the model of grid, ray-tracing in optical window is carried out. Then a novel method to correct the wave-front and reduce the blurring caused by aero-optical effect is introduced. It combines the adaptive optics using the micro-opto-electro-mechanical system (MOEMS) and phase diversity speckle (PDS) technique. Now the development of the nano or micro fabrication technique offers the possibility for the real-time correction system using the combination of MEMS and the nano or micro optics technology. Furthermore, the method of phase diversity speckle is less susceptible to systematic errors introduced by optical hardware, and it also works well for extended objects. In this paper, the key technique of the wave-front correction under aero-optical condition is developed based on MOEMS and PDS, and the feasibility of this technique in the high-speed missile guide system is analyzed theoretically.
