Abstract

In allusion to such defects in traditional voltage space vector pulse width modulation algorithm as complex calculation and weak expansibility when it is applied in multilevel converter, based on sampling time staggered space vector modulation theory a simplified one-dimensional space vector modulation algorithm for single-phase cascaded multilever inverter is proposed. Through simple operation the selection of one-dimensional voltage vector can be chosen and corresponding action time can be obtained, and the optimized firing sequence of the valves can be reasonably selected; redundant switch status is utilized to implement the dead zone is achieved to effectively avoid the danger of short-circuit of bridge arms. Simulation results show that the proposed modulation method is correct and feasible.
