Abstract

Based on the research of a fiber element model considering the section warp deformation, this paper uses the uniform design method to arrange the numerical simulation testing scheme of the "-" shaped reinforced concrete block masonry shear wall considering the key influence factors such as the height-width ratio, reinforcement ratio, the axial compression ratio, and the masonry compression strength. Then the quasi static test of numerical simulative models is accomplished. With the actual test results, the features of the restoring force and the empirical equations are presented. The finding of this paper is a base for the elastic-plastic analysis for high rise structures which mainly uses the "-" shaped reinforced concrete block masonry shear wall against the lateral force.
