Numerical simulation of transient temperature field in the airborne radar cabin

Abstract

To analyze and calculate the transient temperature field in the airborne radar cabin, by introducing a wall heat flux function, the effects of aerodynamic heat transfer and thermal radiation outside the aircraft skin were transformed into a kind of flexible thermal boundary condition for the internal thermal analysis. A simplified engineering calculation method is brought forward for solving the uncertainty of thermal parameters of electronic equipments in radar cabin. The coupled heat transfer of conduction with radiation and convection was analyzed and the dynamic thermal balance equation of radar cabin was established. The thermal network method combined with the Monte Carlo method was used to solve the coupled heat transfer based on the combined environment control system. The transient temperature field of airborne radar cabin was simulated numerically. The research provides an important reference for the design of airborne radar cabin.
