Abstract

In view of the present phenomenon of the water-wall tubes explosion caused by the high temperature corrosion in a double-furnace boiler, a subcritical uniflow boiler in a power plant was studied in this thesis. The aerodynamic characteristics of gas-particle two phase flows have been conducted by using the numerical simulation method in the double-furnace boiler furnace. Thereby the radical causes leading to high temperature corrosion are pointed out.
