Abstract

A RSM model was presented for the time-independent viscous incompressible flow around a pair of rotationally oscillating combination plates. To investigate the aerodynamic characteristics of the combination plates and the characteristics of wake flow, several numerical schemes have been tested with different amplitudes and frequencies. Based on the comparison of the flow characteristics for two parallel combination plates with different spacing ratio, two different wake flow modes were found.
