Abstract
On basis of the Euler S2 stream surface calculation code and the Eulerian/Eulerian multi-phase model, a numerical method for the wet steam flow with spontaneous condensation is developed. It is applied to predict the performance of the Moses-Stein nozzle and a three-stage low pressure steam turbine respectively. The method is able to calculate the steam spontaneous condensation in the nozzle accurately, and the results fit well with the experimental data. It can also predict the influence of the wet steam on the aerodynamic parameters distribution with reliable precision, supplying a fast and accurate method and technic to the steam turbine design.
