Abstract
The output modes of the UR90(90° beam rotation) unstable ring resonator used in chemical oxygen-iodine laser were obtained by numerical simulation. The simulation included chemical kinetics, transverse gas flow and physical optics in the resonator. Distribution curve of near-field intensity, phase and far-field intensity are presented with the magnification M and the distance a from the optical axis to the edge of scaper. It is proved that the UR90 unstable ring resonator is beneficial for the quality improvement of the light beam.
