Abstract

The sensibility of beams' nulls to the amplitude and phase errors of antenna cells leads to an average losing in suppressing interferences by nulling techniques. In order to improve the suppressing effect of nulling in a practical system, this paper proposes a pre-remedy processing on an ideal constraint model, which obviously takes the influence from antenna errors on pattern nulls. By extending this method, the problem can be solved when the elements of array have directional errors or some element is failed. The simulation results and practical data processing results have shown the effectivity of this method.
