Abstract

This paper proposes a single-stage zero-current and zero-voltage switching (ZCZVS) power factor correction (PFC) full-bridge converter. The leading switches can realize ZCS under wide load range using the leakage inductance of the transformer and the energy of the output capacitor. With the use of phase-shifted control mode and the junction capacitor of the switches, the lagging switches can realize ZVS under any load. Because the soft switches are realized without adding any auxiliary device, the whole circuit is simple and can be realized easily compared with ZCS PWM Boost full-bridge converter. The operation principle is analyzed, the following functions can be obtained at the same time: Time power factor correction, AC/DC conversion, output voltage regulation, electrical insulation. Finally, experimental results verified the advantages of the converter.
