N2 - On the basis of a uniform circular array of trimmed vector sensors, a novel cyclic ESPRIT-based approach is proposed for direction finding and polarization estimation of multipath cyclostationary signals. By exploiting the cyclostationarity and the polarization diversity of the signals, the proposed method improves the resolution power and offers comparable performance as the optimal methods likelihood method at low-SNR. In addition, the proposed algorithm reduces the computational complexity and possesses a signal-selective capability. The performance of the proposed approach is confirmed through numerical examples, and it is shown that this method is superior in resolving the closely-spaced cyclostationary signals.
