Abstract

Compared with the traditional microwave synthetic aperture radar (SAR), the terahertz SAR is much more sensitive to the high frequency vibration of the platform which needs to be compensated. This paper proposes a novel method for the terahertz SAR imaging in which compensation for these two motion errors (i.e., high frequency vibration and the traditional low frequency motion error) are considered simultaneously. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by measured terahertz SAR data.
