Abstract
Iron–nickel alloy electropsun fibers with controllable phase composition and tunable microwave absorption performances are produced by utilizing citric acid organic gel thermal reduction process. The microwave absorption performances of pure magnetic alloy fiber strongly depend on its content in paraffin composite. The residual metal oxides due to incomplete reduction reaction distribute in alloy fibers and result in more interfaces between alloy and oxide, which prevent the formation of an electrically conducting network and cause more stable microwave absorption performance of product.
