Abstract

According to the operating principle of space deployable articulated mast, the fault modes and its data base are established. The gray relationship method was used to study the relation between system's failure characters and internal failure characters of the deployable mast, and to quantize the qualitative index on the analysis of fault modes and harmfulness. In addition, the method was also used to calculate the gray relation degree of fault modes, by which the damage degree of different fault modes can be confirmed. Then an effective judgment was acquired to enhance the veracity of analysis on space deployable articulated mast.
