Nonlinear model and quantitative analysis of performance parameter for the axial and radial air gap hybrid magnet circuit multi-coupling motor

Abstract

A novel axial and radial air gap hybrid magnet circuit multi-coupling motor is presented in this paper. The tooth layer magnet parameter database of the motor is developed based on the concept of the specific tooth layer permeance. The nonlinear model of motor is set up. Based on the model, the maximum static torques with different exciting conditions are calculated. The experiment proves the calculated result. EMF and self-inductance and mutual inductance under different conditions are calculated. This research provides efficient method for the motor design and analysis.
