Abstract

Water resource is an important resource for human survival. With the increasing degree of urbanization and industrialization, the distribution of water resources and the control of water pollution have gradually become an important part of the work of governments all over the world. In this chapter, we first make a detailed analysis of the current water resources allocation and water pollution control policies in major economies. This chapter expounds the new challenges to existing policies arising from social development. Finally, we summarize the current trend of water resources allocation and water pollution control policies in the world.
