Abstract

During his inspection in Heilongjiang, General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the concept of "new quality productive forces."As a pillar industry of the national economy, the construction sector serves as a crucial frontier for the development of new quality productive forces. With urban development shifting from large-scale incremental construction to stock enhancement and quality improvement, the construction industry urgently needs to establish new development paradigms to achieve high-quality growth. This study adopts a combined approach of bibliometric analysis and grounded theory, systematically collecting and analyzing relevant literature, policy documents, and industry reports. Using CiteSpace software, keyword co-occurrence and clustering analyses were conducted to identify research hotspots on new quality productive forces in the construction sector. Furthermore, a core element framework for new quality productive forces in the construction sector was constructed based on grounded theory. The study identifies four core elements of new quality productive forces in the construction industry: Technological innovation, managerial innovation, material innovation, and process innovation. These elements are interrelated and collectively drive the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry. This study provides empirical data and theoretical support for the establishment of a theoretical framework for new quality productive forces in the construction sector, contributing to the high-quality development of the construction industry.
