Abstract

Natural frequency decrease phenomenon in random vibration test of difform aluminum honeycomb sandwich board in different test datum was analyzed, no internal breakage was proved. Meanwhile, the largest Lyapunov exponent of test data is larger than zero. The possibility of the presence of chaotic behavior in the time-series data is explored. The nonlinear is the main causation of natural frequency decrease is proved.
