Abstract

The author brief introduced the research, development and application progress in nano-structured coatings and nano-modified materials, including thermal sprayed nano-structured ceramic coatings, thermal sprayed nano-structured self-lubricating coatings, electroplated coatings and electrophoresis deposited coatings, nano-modified hard metals and nano-modified cast irons. Based on these,the author believes that the industrial application of nanotechnology is not a dream.
