Abstract

Based on the hierarchy temporal memory model, an experiment on named entity recognition has been carried out. This experiment, which is taken on Chinese word segmentation and speech tagging, has a purpose to test the hierarchy temporal memory model cortex learning algorithm's performance. The results show that this algorithm fits the named entity recognition well, and has good performance in recall and precise. In the end of this paper, the problems which would be confronted on the further research are put forward.
