Abstract

Iris verification is one of the biometrics verification technologies. This paper proposes a new iris verification method based on multiscale non-redundant wavelet texture analysis. The recognition process is performed in two stages. The first stage is to train the iris samples to obtain the texture feature vector by multiscale wavelet transform. The second stage is the matching procedure for iris verification. Experiments show that this method is valid for identity verification.
