Abstract

A large dynamic range, minor streak image tube has been designed, which can work in single slit mode and multiple slit mode, the temporal resolution of this streak tube is 2.6 ps, and its total length is about 196.352 mm. It can be used not only in the traditional high speed diagnosis fields such as inertial confined fusion, plasma physics, laser technique, photobiology and photo-chemistry et al, but also in that of detecting the velocity of missile, searching under-marine target and early-alarming, which can obtain the 3D spatial and 1D intensity information of the target simultaneously.
