Abstract

This paper proposed an active disturbance rejection decoupling controller based on the dq coordination system applied on static var generator (SVG). Firstly, for the non-linearity and strong-coupling of SVG, a multi-variables decoupling control system based on active disturbance rejection has been designed and built. Secondly, in order to deal with the high frequency oscillation and poor filtering characteristic which the most ordinary controlling strategy can hardly overcome, this paper introduced a tracking differentiator adopted the steepest control synthesis function as the controlling algorithm. Furthermore, a linear ADRC and a nonlinear ADRC have been designed and compared with the PI method independently. According to the result of Matlab simulations and prototype experiments, the output current of SVG can be decoupled in dq coordinates, and the faster dynamic response, robustness and anti-interference ability of the multi-variables decoupling control algorithm based on nonlinear ADRC proposed by this paper were proved, especially the advantages of single parameter trimming and overshot-free.
