Abstract
The problem of designing a switching controller for chattering attenuation in multi-model system is considered. Applying the method of eigenstructure assignment and the theory of model tracking, a set of multi-model switch controllers is designed to stabilize each subsystem and make the outputs of the closed-loop systems satisfy certain tracking performances. Output chattering is attenuated through selecting all the degrees of freedom provided by the method of eigenstructure assignment. A bank-to-turn (BTT) missile autopilot is designed by using the proposed approach. Simulation result shows the effect and validity of the proposed method in command tracking and switching chattering attenuations.
