Modulation Strategy Optimization of Multi-Resonant Three-Port Converter Based on Improved Triangular Topology Aggregation Optimizer

Abstract

To achieve the minimum conduction loss of the multi-resonant three-port converter (MRTPC), a modulation strategy optimization method based on an improved triangular topology aggregation optimizer (ITTAO) is proposed. Firstly, topology analysis is conducted on the three-port multi resonant converter, and the equivalent circuit and power transmission formula of the MRTPC are derived. Then, the objective function and power constraint conditions for the weighted current effective value were established. Next, an ITTAO is applied to optimize the triple-phase-shift-modulation-strategy (TPSMS) at the specified power. Finally, the effectiveness of the optimized TPSMS is verified through simulation. The simulation results show that the optimized TPSMS effectively reduces the conduction loss of the MRTPC.
