Abstract

Natural ventilation can provide free cooling when external temperature is low and improve air quality for buildings so it is a renewable energy. Wind is the main driving force of natural ventilation. The effect of natural ventilation with and without wind different greatly. However, the magnitude, direction, frequancy of winds are subjected to change and this cause significant difficulties in modelling natural ventilation with wind effect. This paper introduces research work on natural ventilation with wind effect.
