Abstract

One-dimensional correlation functions for negative pions emitted at midrapidity from central Au+Au collisions at 2A, 4A, 6A and 8A GeV were measured. These correlation functions were analyzed using the imaging technique of Brown and Danielewicz. Overall, results strengthen the rationale for applying systematic imaging analyses to a variety of particle species and open the door to more detailed interferences about spacetime structure.
