Abstract
A new approach for mixed H2/H∞ multi-objective state feedback controller synthesis for continuous-time system was established through dilated linear matrix inequalities (LMI). The proposed approach can parameterize the controllers without involving the Lyapunov variables in the parameterization. Taking advantage this feature, multi-objective controller with non-common Lyapunov variables was designed. A state feedback control law was obtained by synthesize mixed H2/H∞ performance with the approach. A practical design example illustrates that the proposed approach has less conservation than the approach with common Lyapunov variables.
