Abstract

This paper introduces an antenna grouping method based on the principle of confocal imaging method. In view of the fact that traditional multistatic array confocal imaging method requires high computation time which hinder its application in rapid diagnosis, the proposed antenna grouping methods only uses the multistatic data among antennas within each group. The data between the antennas from different groups are not considered, which is more efficient to reconstruct the image. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by computer simulation and experiment.
