Abstract

The mechanical properties of ZrCuNiAlTi alloy with different sizes and volume fractions of crystalline were studied. With decreasing the overheating level, the volume fraction and the size of quenched-in crystalline phase increase. Compressive fracture stress of fully bulky amorphous alloy was determined. The precipitation of crystallites led to the softness of the remaining matrix.
