Abstract

Damping property of the 2024Al/SiCP metal matrix composites produced by spray codeposition method was reported. The results show that the property is about 142% higher than that of the 2024 alloy produced by spray deposition method and nearly 184% higher than that of 2024 produced by conventional casting.
