Abstract

The title compound, C₅H₉NO₂, is almost planar (r.m.s. deviation for the non-H atoms = 0.036 Å) and an intramolecular N - H⋯O hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring. In the crystal, N - H⋯O interactions link the molecules into C(6) chains propagating along [010].
