Abstract

Based on existing data mining process models, this paper presents the methodology and problem-solving model for the integration between data mining techniques and optimization method. Our objective is to integrate data mining techniques and optimization methods seamlessly in real applications, and to provide a feasible reference model for end users so that complex decision problems could be solved efficiently and effectively. Furthermore, we apply our model to customer segmentation application in analytical CRM to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed methodology and model.
