Abstract
SimMechanics CAD Translator is a bridge which combines CAD assemblies of mechanical system, SimMechanics model and virtual reality. With the Translator, simulation models of electromechanical system's virtual prototype could be unified in MATLAB environment easily, and the unitary model could be used to drive virtual reality. The theory of the translator and the method of generating virtual prototype based on it were introduced. Two generating instances show the advantage of this method.
