Abstract

To generate manufacturing BOM(MBOM) from Engineering BOM(EBOM) automatically, this paper first present strict formal descriptions of EBOM, MBOM and BOP. Based on them, an algorithm of combining EBOM with BOP was presented to generate MBOM with its conversion rules, steps and practical data.
